How to suppress Matlab warnings

In many cases Matlab produces different warnings. Some of them are useful, some are REALLY not. Such warning as "Warning: Image is too big to fit on screen; displaying at 50%" is really annoying and disrupts output in command window.

The Web is full of suggestions like providing initial magnification:

imshow(X,'InitialMagnification',50);

but that's not a cure, it only masks symptoms. To turn it (or any other warning) REALLY off just click on the uppermost link in inner matlab files that produced that warning, find warning ID like 'images:initSize:adjustingMag' and copy it into clipboard. Then add the following line to your script:

warning('off','images:initSize:adjustingMag');

This will really suppress this Matlab warning and you will not see it any more.

MikroTik RB951G-2HnD is a wireless SOHO Gigabit AP/Router featuring five Gigabit Ethernet ports, one USB 2.0 port and a high power 2.4GHz 1000mW 802.11b/g/n wireless module with built-in antennas.

It's a robust and reliable device, however, it may be bricked if it was uploaded with incorrect firmware.

In this article I'm going to show how to recover it. The information here is applicable to RB951G-2HnD, but may be useful for other models as well.

SiteCensor

A small plugin that wipes off unnecessary words from your site.

In some cases you have to run multiple services on a domain secured by SSL certificate, on various ports.

Users, who want to access your server at https://example.com:1337 often type just example.com:1337, which leads to plain HTTP request and the error specified above.

A single line in nginx configuration can prevent nginx from showing this error message, and redirect user user using the correct scheme instead. Just add

error_page 497 https://$host:$server_port$request_uri;

to your host configuration inside server { ... } block and reload the configuration:

[[email protected] #]service nginx reload

If you upgrade to windows 8.1 64-bit, you may find that you cannot install argyll drivers for your colorimeter in a usual way.

To install them, you need:
