Fast&powerful module for Joomla! that displays content's modification date, as well as Virtuemart's, JoomFish and other extensions. It combines flexibility and a number of options with high-speed execution.
For current moment, it's the most functional module listed in Joomla! Extensions Directory that provides information about last changement dates on your site.
This release of Last Update Module for Joomla! - version 3.0 includes:
- Integration with other Joomla! extensions, such as:
- Virtuemart (J.1.5 VERSION )
- JoomFish (J.1.5 VERSION )
- JoomGallery (J.1.5 VERSION )
- DOCman (J.1.5 VERSION )
- (You can also add support for your own extension)
- Joomla! "core" types processing:
- Content
- Weblinks
- Users
- Access control filtering (as well as unpublished items filter)
- Refactored caching mechanism, offering new options
- "Cached" sign support
- Time Zone Offset support
- Built-in reference guide
- Combined\Individual processing options for each extension
- (v3.1 new) individual module class setting
And, as usually, Last Update Module allows:
- to specify output format
- to add pre-&post-text
Module's code is optimized for fast execution, in accordance with PHP peculiarities. Version 3.0 was completely refactored, and it's 100% MVC-based.
Next version will be supplied with multiple language files.
Version for Joomla! 1.6 was created by Marcin Dancewicz, thanks to him!
I've stopped developing the module for Joomla 1.5 and 1.0. (You can still use v.3.1, which is stable and well-working). All upcoming releases will be for Joomla 1.6 only.
WARNING!!! THIS IS LEGACY RELEASE. IT HAS BEEN TESTED WITH JOOMLA! ARTICLES ONLY.
VIRTUEMART SUPPORT is for 1.x branch. OTHER EXTENSIONS HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED.
Please do not post negative reviews if it does not work for third-party extensions.
I'll release new, up-to-date version in 2-3 months.
